Visite de la Goutte d’Or. Santé et rénovation urbaine. Aesop conference juillet 2024

An intense week of scientific exchanges in the framework of AESOP – Association of European Schools of Planning, which allowed us to meet colleagues and work on different aspects of “Planning for just and sustainable urban regions”. Fijalkow Yankel and Yaneira Wilson had the honor to chair the session housing, health and policies I and II in the wonderful spaces at Sciences Po. It was really interesting to receive communications from different geographical contexts (England, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Portugal, France, among others) and research related to health and housing (on air quality, adulthood, design or programs such as E-city programme and of course SAPHIR, which motivates us to maintain the link and to meet again.

We ended yesterday’s incredible day with the animation of a mobile workshop « Revisiting the long-term change of an ethnic neighborhood : la Goutte d’or », and to our great surprise more than 30 people were waiting for us to visit this place and we received a very warm thank you from them which satisfies us enormously !

THANK YOU to all the AESOP team Marco Cremaschi Tommaso Vitale Eleonora Russo, PhD Charlotte Halpern (and others) for allowing this meeting, to all the participants for joining us.
